Dr. Udani is currently leading a study at Sharp Healthcare studying the use of tumor fluorescence in surgery for resection of different types of brain tumors. This is a novel technology that is used to maximize the safe surgical resection of tumors while minimizing risk to normal adjacent neural tissue.
Globus Quartex System
Dr. Udani is a member of the Surgeon Design Team for the Globus Quartex Occipito-Cervico-Thoracic Stabilization system. This is a novel posterior spinal fixation system that is used to treat traumatic, neoplastic, and degenerative conditions of the posterior skullbase as well as the cervical and upper thoracic spine.
