Dr. Udani serves as the Medical Director of Neurosurgery for the Laurel Amtower Cancer Institute and Neuro-Oncology Center. He has expertise in the surgical resection of primary and metastatic tumors of the brain, spinal cord and peripheral nerves. He utilizes microsurgical skills as well as cutting-edge technology to maximize safe tumor resection while minimizing risk to normal neural tissues.
He has specialized training in skullbase techniques and uses a multi-disciplinary team of craniofacial surgeons and otolaryngologists. Dr Udani is also the principal investigator of a research study examining the use of fluorescence (“tumor paint”) during neurosurgical tumor resections.
